3. Conditions

For those who complete a booking with Rosie Holidays, please provide the following information to Embassy of Japan in Fiji via ryoji.fiji@fj.mofa.go.jp with a copy attachment of the bio data page of your passport.

(1) e-ticket of Connecting Flight (i) Date and Time, (ii) Flight Number, (iii) Airline, (iv) Next Destination, (v) Departure Airport in Japan (e.g. Narita).

(2) Accommodation (hotel) while transiting in Japan, if necessary due to a connecting flight.

(3) Pre-conditions based on the tightened immigration policies of the Government of Japan in response to COVID-19, for non-Japanese nationals, except those who have effective residential and re-entry permits to stay in Japan, to board this charter flight to Japan:

  • Japan is NOT a final destination.
  • Upon check-in at Nadi International Airport, all non-Japanese passengers need to possess an e-ticket to a final destination via Japan.
  • Non-Japanese passengers must depart within 72 hours after their entry into Japan. In this regard, obtaining a 72-hour permit to stay in Japan for transit (Shore Pass or Transit Pass) at Narita International Airport is required, except those who are transiting within the same day in Narita International Airport and do not need to go through the immigration examination in Narita International Airport. The carrier company in Narita International Airport will submit application for Shore Pass or Transit Pass to Japanese authority and the information of connecting flights is necessary to fill in the form. Shore Pass or Transit Pass may not be issued for those who do not possess an e-ticket to a final destination via Japan.
  • Narita International Airport is NOT a 24-hour airport (closed between midnight (0:00am) and 6:00am), therefore a transit within the same day is ideal. In case a connecting flight is scheduled in the following days, Non-Japanese passengers need to enter into Japan by going through the immigration. Please note that all visitors from foreign countries into Japan are (i) required NOT to use public transport such as train, bus, and taxi when moving in Japan to/from hotels and other airports such as Haneda International Airport, and (ii) also required to self-isolate at residential places such as hotels during the transit period, as part of the tightened measures of COVID-19. In this regard, it is strongly recommended to arrange a connecting flight to the next destination from Narita International Airport in the arrival day, and not from other airports such as Haneda.  In case a domestic move in Japan is unavoidable, it would be encouraged to contact their own respective Embassies in Tokyo beforehand for potential assistance.

(4) Non-Japanese passengers need to prove that they have stayed in Fiji for more than 14 days prior to boarding this charter flight. In addition to possessing a valid passport, it will be required to present a proof of the stay in Fiji such as a receipt of hotels.
